travaux dans le jardin et tt autour de la maison - G.Lily souffle sa 8ème bougie - grannymania - new camera and goodies from The Papertrey Ink.

WEEK18

After three weeks in France, the camera took a little break this past few days...
The Magnolia in front of the house is in bloom - it was Mother's day and G.L was quite excited about her upcoming birthday.

WEEK17

Last week in paris: a rose from the Jardin Kahn - Le Moulin Rouge - the magic of Paris: on Monday we see a fake Van Gogh on a wall, on Wednesday, Lily sees the real thing at the Musée D'Orsay - Le sacré Coeur - La familia - meeting the girls' rabbit: Cookie.

WEEK 16

Cimetière de Nuits St George où sont enterrés mes arrières-grand-parents - pause Ladurée au Palais Royal à Paris - diner à la Poule au Pot - Jardin D'Acclimatation - bébé Luca et G.L - Solange, ma marraine (100 ans) - croisière sur la Seine - G.R - retour à notre ancienne cantine: Vesuvio, St Germain - Dijon et son pain d'épices - Hospices de Beaune - Oncle Michel à Dijon.

Lyon - Parc de la Tete d'Or - Guignol - Virginie & G.L - le club des 5 - Place Bellecour - 18Th anniversary - Chrystelle & Nil - Patty - TGV

G.L makes a little book - G.R gets a haircut - first crocuses (among cracked open peanuts) - G.L takes a pictures of her dolls - best flourless chocolate cake - swimming at the Club - scrapping with doilies.

WEEK11

Week 11 was: taking the bike to tap dance - goofing with Keelan - lunch outside by the Hancock building - awful news from Japan - homework in the kitchen - enjoying a warm shower - warmer weather in the Windy City - making potpourri - and Spring cards - drawing - taking good care of the stuffed animals - playing with Distress inks - more scary news - a date.

WEEK10

getting a hair cut - dyeing of the Chicago River - Mark and Bill in Santa Monica - G.L making her own Mardi Gras celebration - M. Henrietta, a favorite breakfast spot - making minis - new tap dance shoes for G.L.

WEEK9

a new movie - the skyline from the express way - shopping at Costco - new pillows - making flowers - great sushi - using nail polish on paper - diner at Uncle Julio's - a wonderful surprise.

WEEK8

2 movies - K's driver's licence - G.L's 1st recipe - eating out at Whole Foods - blooming - Rahm Emmanuel elected Mayor of Chicago - serious tea equipment - making sushi maki.

WEEK7

If I only have a few hours in Paris, I have go to The Jardin du Luxembourg and check its surroundings. That's where I went to school, it'll always be my 'hood ;-)

WEEK6

With the passing of our Grandmother Rinette, G.L and I flew to France. We had a great time catching up with the family...

WEEK5

and what a week that was!
top row: trying to stay warm
second row: nothing short of a miracle (the bloom and having the electricity restored)
third row: the forecast was spot on. Some one of us still found it fun!

Keelan makes little objects with paper clips - The King's Speech - fresh flowers in th edead of winter - cool poster of a movie to come - Lily reviews her English words on the computer - printmaking at Northwestern - missing hubcap - keelan draws - a great package sent from France, it took over 6 weeks to make it to Chicago!
